ICARUS participation to a “PV cradle-to-grave” workshop

Birgit Ryningen, SINTEF, had a presentation during a workshop “PV cradle-to-grave workshop” by the Solar Energy Cluster and the Research Centre for Sustainable Solar Cell Technology” on 29 April 2022.

Her presentation covered: “Innovative eco-efficient processing and refining routes for secondary raw materials from silicon ingot and wafer manufacturing for accelerated utilisation in high-end markets.” (ICARUS, et EU prosjekt om sirkulære verdikjeder)

The objective of the workshop was to discuss the environmental impact of PV technology and their recyclability.
